BESPOKE JEWELLERY

The process when designing Bespoke jewellery:

STEP 1:

Meeting /talking with you the costumer:

The meeting can be face to face or over a video platform like zoom. You can use the Contact me page or send me a email at morganjewelleryco@gmail.com  to set up a meeting.

Some of the things that you may want to think about before the meeting is:

  • What piece of jewellery do you want made?

  • What metal do you want it to be in?

  • Would you like any gemstones in it?

  • As well as any themes that you might want to include in the design.

If you are struggling answering these questions don't worry because we will be able to help you decide or give you help during the meeting.

STEP 2:

Designing and drawing:

Then I will start designing and drawing the designs to show you. When I have a couple of different designs I will talk to you about which design you like the most and if there is anything that you would change about it.

I want to make sure that the piece I make for you is a piece that you will love and cherish forever.

STEP 3:

Making the piece on CAD or by hand:

Once I have designed the piece of jewellery I will ask you to put down a deposit before I start making the piece. Depending on how detailed the piece is I will then make the piece on CAD or by hand.

If I make the piece on CAD it will need to be 3D printed and then casted.

GETTING THE PIECE 3D PRINTED AND CAST

After CAD or wax sculpting

This is a process that we would use if we created the design on CAD or as a wax carving.

The CAD design would need to be printed out as a 3D print before having it cast in the metal of your choice.

The wax carving would be cast straight into the metal of your choice.

STEP 4:

Cleaning up the jewellery and adding any other details to it:

This step is to make sure that the jewellery piece is sparkly and finished. Their maybe some extra steps that I would need to do after this step like stone setting stones as well as any additional processes like adding engravings.

STEP 5:

Delivering/ collecting the piece of jewellery

This is the last step of the bespoke process where you finally get to see the finished piece. You will be able to collect the piece from me or I will be able to send the piece to you.

At this stage I will be able to see if the piece fits and do any size alterations to the piece.

DIAMOND AND EMERALD RING

This is a very special commission that I made for my Aunties and Uncles 25th Wedding Anniversary. I set a pear shaped Emerald in the center of the ring and added little diamonds set within the band around the center stone.

BESPOKE CATALOGUE

I have compiled a selection of different stone settings and shank shapes in this section, to give you a idea of what you would like. These are just base specs and you can change it to what you would like. Don't get worried when you see all the different styles because I will help you when we have our meeting. I create necklaces, bracelets and earrings as well but for demonstration of different settings I have focused on rings. I haven't been able to create every single style of jewellery on CAD, so if you have any ideas that aren't below tell me about them in our meeting.

All the pictures in the catalogue are made by me on CAD.
