FAQ

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HAVE A PIECE COMMISSIONED?

It depends on the item and the time of the year. We will keep in touch with you throughout the whole process so that you know what is going on and if you have a specific date that you would like the piece to be done by we will try and work to that time frame. Please get get in touch if you would like any adivise.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU WORK IN?

I am able to work in a verity of different precious metals like: Platinum, Palladium, White gold, Red gold, Yellow gold and Silver.

I HAVE AN OLD PIECE OF JEWELLERY THAT WAS LEFT TO ME FROM A RELATIVE. CAN ANY PARTS OF IT BE REUSED?

Yes, stones can be re-used. As well as the metal that can be melted down and reused. We only melt down metal that has a hallmark saying what metal it is. Also, if the stones are old, we can't guarantee that they will come out in perfect condition as they could chip or break when being removing.

IF I HAVE PAID A DEPOSIT ON A BESPOKE PIECE AND I WANT TO CANCEL, WHAT HAPPENS?

If you cancel your bespoke order after going ahead with the design and paying your deposit, you won't be able to get your deposit back. So make sure you are 100% sure before ordering.

WHAT IS THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY? WHAT DOES IT COVER?

There is a one year warranty on some of our pieces. This covers the piece for a year from the day you receive it. This covers a stone breaking or chipping or the chain breaking. Unfortunately, loss or theft isn't covered in this warranty.

HOW CAN I WORK OUT MY RING SIZE?

You can buy sizers that don't cost that much or visit us and we will size your finger for you.

The other way is you getting a piece of string or piece of paper and doing these steps, but remember that this isn't always right:

  1. Wrap the string or paper around the base of your finger that you would like to size.

  2. Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.

  3. Measure the string or paper with a ruler (mm).

  4. Pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart to find your ring size.

Ring size sheet is at the bottom of the page.

WILL MY JEWELLERY BE HALLMARKED?

Most of our jewellery is hallmarked. But some of our pieces that are under the legal weight threshold for hallmarking won't be hallmarked. The specified weight threshold for each metal is 1 gram for gold, 7.78 grams for silver, 0.5 grams for platinum and 1 gram for palladium.

MY JEWELLERY IS STARTING TO LOOK TARNISHED AND DIRTY. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN IT?

Silver and Gold metals do tarnish over time. This process is only natural. Your everyday activities may speed up the process. So we suggest that you purchase a good quality jewellery polishing cloth to remove the dirty and tarnishing and to clean regularly. You can also get in touch with us and we will professionally clean it for you.
